Our December Compliment Relay runner is Hayeon Lim from the Technical Support Team in the Product Management Division.
Would you like to meet Ms. Lim?
Q1. Hello, Ms. Lim. Congratulations on being selected as the December Complimnet Relay runner. May I ask you to introduce yourself?
My name is Hayeon Lim, and I am currently working in the technical support team of the product management headquarters,
supporting MSP partners and responding to inquiries related to cloud web firewall installation.
I joined MONITORAPP around October 2022, and when this year ends, I will have already spent about 1 year and 3 months at MONITORAPP.
Time flies :)
Q2. After working at MONITORAPP for a little over a year, what kind of mood did you find MONITORAPP to be?
As it's my first job, it's hard to compare with other companies, but MONITORAPP has an interesting sense of independence and freedom, but also a sense of cohesion that comes from team membership and group activities.
Even in workshops, even if we are randomly grouped with employees who don't know each other, it doesn't seem to be awkward, and we seem to work well together as a result.
In terms of MBTI, I felt that it was a friendly company for someone with an I (introverted) personality to socialize.
Q3. How do you feel about being selected as a Compliment Relay runner and why do you think you were selected?
Honestly, I was very surprised because I didn't expect it at all, and I've been here for over a year now, and I still have a lot to learn.
However, I was proud to know that there were people around me who recognized my hard work.
And I think the reason why I was selected was because of my attitude toward customers and partners, as Mr. Kim Nakcheon said.
I'm a technical support person, but I have some deficiencies in my career, so I tried to find what I don't know, learn it, and then answer customers' and partners' inquiries like I teach myself.
Even if it takes a while, I aim to give them the best answer that they can understand and be satisfied with, so I think this may have been the reason.
Q4. Did you achieve the goals you set for 2023?
And what do you want to accomplish for MONITORAPP and your team in 2024?
Half accomplished, half goals for next year.
My goal for 2023 was to become a trustworthy colleague for my teammates, and as I hoped, we are relying on each other,
and I won the award for being the last compliment relay runner this year, so I think I've achieved it.
In addition, my goals for 2024 include resuming my English studies, which I put on hold to get settled into the job,
and gaining more experience supporting products other than our flagship web firewall!
Q5. How would you like to see MONITORAPP grow in the medium to long term and do you have any wishes for MONITORAPP?
I think it will be a working environment. In the process, we will strengthen our human resources and internal capabilities to maintain a stable workflow.
and create more stable processes so that we can maintain a stable work rhythm.
Q6. For those who are preparing to join MONITORAPP, are there any keywords to recommend joining MONITORAPP?
As an engineer, I would say "manufacturer solutions and technical support know-how,
"and as an employee, I would say "steadily increasing welfare and daily events." :)
