We organize a monthly “Compliment Relay” to encourage each other's hard work and achievements, and to create a better work environment.
This time, we'd like to introduce you to our November and December 2024 kudos.
First, let's take a look at the November 2024 Compliment Relay interview with the main character, Junghyun Hwang.
Q1. How long have you been working at MONITORAPP and what are your responsibilities?
My name is Junghyun Hwang and I work in the APP1 team.
The APP1 team is a team that develops and maintains MONITORAPP's web firewall product called AIWAF, which stands for Appliance 1 Team.
Q2. Please introduce the culture and atmosphere of MONITORAPP that you have experienced in the 5 years you have been working there.
I joined in September 2019 and have been here for 5 years. At MONITORAPP, we value camaraderie and communication.
We organize company-wide events about twice a year to build harmony and communication among team members and between teams.
We also have a much better welfare program than in the past. It seems like you're trying to provide as much welfare as the company can support.
As communication is important to you, we receive and improve complaints/improvements from employees through meetings, so we expect that our culture will continue to improve in the future.
Q3. What was the best (or worst) part of your job?
I like to see things evolve over the course of my career. I'm always looking for ways to improve and change things, and it's rewarding to realize that the present is better than the past.
I've had situations where I've been overwhelmed by a sudden increase in workload, but I've always had coworkers who treated it like their own job and helped me get through it.
Q4. How does it feel to be a Compliment Relay runner?
I'm delighted and honored to be selected as a Compliment Relay runner. I think I still have a lot to work on, but I'm grateful that you think so highly of me.
I will continue to work hard and try to be even better than I am now.
Q5. What factors do you think contributed to your selection as a Compliment Relay runner-up?
I try to answer questions as quickly and accurately as possible, and I try to explain things in a way that is easy for everyone to understand.
I also enjoy sharing what I've learned or accomplished with the team and look forward to growing with them. I'm glad to see that you like that about me.
Q6. Where would you like to see MONITORAPP in about 5 years and what would you like to see it grow into?
I'd love to see MONITORAPP continue to change and evolve, and I hope you'll continue to keep the lines of communication open so we can all grow together.

Following the November 2024 interview with Hwang Junghyun, the main protagonist of Compliment Relay, we will introduce the December interview with Lee Kyung-min, the main protagonist of Compliment Relay.
Q1. How long have you been working at MONITORAPP and what are your responsibilities?
I've been with MONITORAPP for about 4 years and 4 months.
My current role is to provide technical support for MONITORAPP partners, including fault support and product deployment support.
Q2. Please introduce the culture and atmosphere of MONITORAPP that you have experienced in the 4 years you have been working there.
It's a free and collaborative atmosphere. I think the best part is that everyone is willing to help if you ask for help instead of having internal competition or just doing your own thing.
Q3. What was the best (or worst) part of your job?
The best part was when we found the cause of a long-standing failure, finally resolved it, and then heard from the customer that they appreciated the effort.
Q4. How does it feel to be a Compliment Relay runner?
It always feels good to hear good things or experience good things.
Let's make sure this feeling is a positive one for the company.
Q5. What factors do you think contributed to your selection as a Compliment Relay runner-up?
I think everyone in the company is doing a great job, so I think whoever gets it deserves it.
I think I was selected simply because it's my turn now.
Q6. Where would you like to see MONITORAPP in about 5 years and what would you like to see it grow into?
We are looking forward to the growth of the AIONCLOUD business area as well as the Application business area, which currently accounts for a large proportion of our business,
so that the representative image of MONITORAPP externally will be Application and AIONCLOUD.

It seems to have a great benefits policy and a free-spirited work atmosphere.
