eGISEC 2025 Review

Hello, this is MONITORAPP.

The eGISEC (e-Government Information Security Solution Fair) has been held since 2001 and is the largest integrated security exhibition in Asia where you can experience physical security and cybersecurity solutions in one place, the only one in Korea that is held at the same time as the World Security Expo (SECON).

MONITORAPP in eGISEC

Once again, MONITORAPP attended eGISEC to showcase our solutions optimized for the changing security landscape and to meet with security officers and IT professionals from both the public and private sectors to hear from the field.

This year, MONITORAPP's booth was located at R105.
It was close to the entrance, so many people visited us.

This year, MONITORAPP organized a special subscription event to expand our contact with visitors to our booth and to increase the number of subscribers across our various digital channels.

By giving away delicious sweets for subscribing to one of our Youtube, LinkedIn, and Kakao business channels, a Starbucks 5,000 won gift certificate for subscribing to two channels, and a Starbucks 10,000 won gift certificate for subscribing to all three channels, we added a fun element and practicality to the event, attracting many visitors.

At eGISEC, MONITORAPP's flagship solutions were Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).

MONITORAPP offers both of these security technologies as SaaS as well as on-premises environments, allowing for flexible adoption to fit each organization's infrastructure.

This was presented as an alternative to secure both security and business efficiency in the recent government-led trend of gradually relaxing network separation regulations, and received high interest from many public organizations and companies.

For those who visited the booth and showed interest in RBI, we also provided a hands-on demonstration of the solution's actual behavior and use cases.

On the second day of the exhibition, Hochul Park, Principal Researcher at MONITORAPP, gave a talk on “Deregulation of network separation, ZTNA and RBI are the key to security strategy” in Track A at 1:50pm.

In this talk, he highlighted the limitations of traditional VDI methods as the network segregation environment changes, and how a security strategy that combines ZTNA and RBI can be a realistic alternative to ensure productivity and security at the same time.

In particular, we emphasized the need for a user-centered and flexible security model amidst changes in the work environment, such as the expanded use of SaaS-based private clouds and increased external collaboration, and introduced technical differentiation along with real-world adoption cases, which drew great attention.

Due to the high level of interest in the talk, MONITORAPP also conducted an official interview with the show's organizers, SecurityNews.

The interview was an opportunity to discuss the significance of ZTNA and RBI in the context of the deregulation of network segregation and and the strategic direction of MONITORAPP more broadly.
