Threat intelligence can help enterprise security teams to manage and control advanced attacks proactively. Adding threat intelligence can complement a threat assessment and provide critical information against latest attacks in an enterprise environment. According to the Gartner, the definition of threat intelligence is evidence-based knowledge, including context, mechanisms, indicators, implications and actionable advice, about an existing or emerging menace or hazard to assets to that can be used to inform decisions regarding the subject’s response to that menace or hazard.
