AIONCLOUD’s SWG provides URL filters, content filters (filtered by keywords), file extension filters, and category filters (filtered by the site characteristics). A total of 65 categories are provided, which are synced with our Cloud Center (AICC) to be updated regularly. Users can also add URL’s to a designated category.
Users, when blocked by a category filter, is greeted with a block page along with a UI that can request a category change. Policy priority is decided in the order it appears in the “Policy Management.” You can change this in “Policy” > “Policy Management” > clicking the “Priority Change” button > moving the policies in the order you wish > and then clicking the “Apply” button.
Filters are applied in descending order as seen in the User Console.
For the basic security of users, access to websites using invalid certificates is blocked.
The product lineup is based on the number of users, so duplicate login is not allowed.
Each user is issued an ID / PW and can be identified by their account information on the login. Users who are not logged in are automatically redirected to the login page.
You can configure the pre-existing proxy server to be directed to the SWG. Depending on the type of proxy server, the function may not be supported or the setting method may be different. We will soon support the function to specify a proxy server in the SWG service.
In addition to the file extension, the actual format of the file can be analyzed to detect forged extensions. Please enable the “Check extension forgery” function in the file extension filter.
Content filters and file extension filters apply to all HTTP and HTTPS, including webmail services. General mail service uses SMTP, POP3, and IMAP protocols, so SWG cannot control them.
