What’s bot detection?

A. Bot is a software application that runs automated tasks(scripts) on the internet. It will mimic human activity and do certain repetitive tasks.
AIONCLOUD’s SWG provides URL filters, content filters (filtered by keywords), file extension filters, and category filters (filtered by the site characteristics). A total of 65 categories are provided, which are synced with our Cloud Center (AILabs) to be updated regularly. Users can also add URL’s to a designated category.
You can select whether to include an external URL through the external URL setting in the WSPC service site settings. If the external URL is disabled, even if the web page contains a link to the external URL, it is not included in the diagnosis.
“Crawl Depth” refers to the degree of entering a link when crawling a website. It is 1 depth to connect with the response link from the registered page, and 2 depth to access with the response link from the accessed page. WSPC service supports HTTP page diagnosis that requires authentication by setting the “HTTP Authentication” option. HTTP authentication supports Basic, Digest, and Form authentication methods. It can be set in “Diagnosis Option” > “HTTP Authentication.”
After registering the site on the WSPC service, you can periodically perform automatic diagnosis. You can set up automatic diagnosis in the registered site settings. Automatic diagnosis period can be set for once a day, once a week, and once a month.
Check if the URL of the registered site responds to HTTP Status 200 OK normally and if it responds with a normal page. Since the crawl starts from the URL you registered, the sitemap may not be generated if the registered site does not respond with a normal web page.

It is a kind of electronic identification card and electronic seal created by adding the owner’s information to the public key required for verification of the electronic signature. These certificates are used to encrypt the communication between the user and the webserver to increase the security of the website.
