Q1. How long have you been working at MONITORAPP and what are your responsibilities? (Please describe your job in detail.)
Hello, my name is Deokhyeong Kim and I have been working in the technical support team for 1 year and 8 months.
My role is to respond and support our partners' technical support requests in the first instance. I conduct basic analysis based on the data collected when a failure occurs, or if necessary, I forward it to the lab for detailed analysis. I'm still new to analytics, so I'm getting help from many people.
Q2. How would you describe the culture and atmosphere at MONITORAPP that you have experienced during your time here? (Include positive and negative aspects)
MONITORAPP is a company that values communication and cooperation.
My coworkers are friendly, so it was relatively easy to adapt to new information and tasks. However, when workshops organize team recreational activities followed by a meal, it can be difficult for someone like me who is shy to form new relationships.
Q3. What's the best (or worst) part of your job? (If it's been difficult, how did you overcome it?)
Sometimes we have to work on weekends to avoid impacting the service, which makes the weekend feel short and affects the next week's work.
It's not a routine, so it's not easy to get used to, and I think I end up drinking coffee a lot.
Q4. How did it feel to be selected as a PraiseRelay pilot?
I was very surprised to hear about the Praise Relay. I feel like I have a lot to work on, but I feel like I got a surprise because of the good reviews.
Q5. Why do you think you were selected as a PraiseRelay runner-up?
I think we received a positive evaluation because we worked together with the sales team to communicate with customers and partners, and we will continue to do our best.
Q6. What do you hope to accomplish at MONITORAPP in the remainder of 2024?
The goal is to improve our personal security capabilities. We are looking to improve in various ways, and we are also considering utilizing ChatGPT.

I hope MONITORAPP has grown into a leading company in the field of web application security.
